THE IMPETUS FOR PROJECT 10X
"A meaningful career is for good students 'cher, not for me."
We at The Astronauts Collective (TAC) believe that every youth should have a right to a meaningful career, especially in a society like Singapore where our work is a huge part of our lives and identity. Yet not every youth has the same motivation, resources and opportunities towards a meaningful career.
This is why TAC is launching Project 10X and making a commitment to support youths from more challenging backgrounds, in particular those who are from lower-income households, less academically-inclined and/or those with mild special needs (ADHD, on the autism spectrum, etc).
Project 10X is TAC's multi-year movement to supercharge (hence, 10X) the career exploration journey for the youths with less, a movement that rallies the local community and brings together our collective resources to help these youths explore and discover meaningful careers!
